A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is a 1987 American fantasy slasher film directed by Chuck Russell. The story was developed by Wes Craven and Bruce Wagner with a screenplay that included the talents of Frank Darabont. It’s the third installment in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. The film stars Heather Langenkamp, Patricia Arquette, Laurence Fishburne, Priscilla Pointer, Craig Wasson, and Robert Englund as primetime star-maker Freddy Krueger. The music for the film was composed by Angelo Badalamenti of Twin Peaks fame, with a theme song titled “Dream Warriors” performed by the American Heavy Metal band Dokken.
