What follows is a comedic joy ride through the 1987's Running Man. The Running Man was original conceived in the mind of Steven King as a dystopian tale that follows a fugitive from justice trying to stay alive while nightly updates about his progress are broadcast on the news. When the concept reached Hollywood it became an unholy mix of the WWE, 80's fashion, Christmas tree lights, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Opera, Jim Brown, a game show host, Mick Fleetwood, one of the Zappa boys, and Jesse Ventrua.
