Beyer's work ranges from detailed scientific illustration to personal explorations of secret corners and quiet, beautiful, playful, momentary, everlasting human connections. She is heavily influenced by years of restaurant work, myths, truths, weird dreams, old country songs, hotdogs, baseball, velvet, quantum physics, the fine art film, “Roadhouse”, etc.

In this episode Ms. Beyer gives listeners a view into the world of creatives, and their unique struggles during the pandemic-induced lockdown.
