Hello and thank you for downloading another episode of The Flixters Podcast!

On today’s show we review Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, starring Anya Tayloy-Joy and Chris Hemsworth. It’s been a long nine years since we left the barren wastelands of director George Miller’s dystopian, hell.

In this prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), we follow the story of Furiosa, a superb performance from Alyla Browne as the young Furiosa, and Ana Taylor-Joy as the older version. After being kidnapped from a marauding gang of bikers, the young Furiosa is held captive by a ruthless, maniacal-dictator, played with menace and a touch of suave by Hemsworth.

Does the young Furiosa make it out alive? Does this 2024 entry into the franchise live up to the hype?

Listen to the show to find out!

We’re also discussing Tarot, a small budget horror flick about a bunch of college kids who can’t stop dying. Sound interesting?

Check out the show!

On Anniversary Corner we look back at Zombieland (209).

And if that wasn’t enough for you, we’ve even thrown in new trailers to watch and what you can catch on streaming.

Thank you for supporting us and we hope you enjoy the show!
