What defines a Horror film? In the simplest of terms, a horror movie is meant to elicit fear for entertainment purposes. However, fear isn’t the same for everyone. So maybe the question should be: what defines a horror film FOR YOU?
Some people might be fearful of clowns, zombies, or vampires. Maybe your heart pounds faster when you hear noises in the dark, or you jump when someone suddenly appears. Maybe your fear is losing your mind or just a lingering feeling of dread. There’s definitely a spectrum but whatever your fear is, there’s a horror movie for you!
