Lesson by Rev Dr Douglas James Cottrell. Today, we are called to immerse ourselves in a profound exploration of the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua, who has illuminated the path to spiritual awakening, self-control, divine love, and compassion. But why, dear friends, does this teaching of self-control resonate so deeply with our spiritual quest? Why must we master our anger, our emotions? It is because our spiritual path, as followers of Christ, is a path of transformation, a journey from the mundane to the divine. The Apostle James reminds us, "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God" (James 1:19-20). To be angry is to be distanced from God, to be removed from His divine love. It clouds our judgment and dims our spiritual insight. Many Mansions International Spiritual Healing Ministry.
