In this episode of the Good Grief Podcast, host Cindy Burns talks to Sarah Sherman about her traumatic past. Raised in a strict religious environment, Sarah suffered from low self-esteem and was in an abusive relationship. Despite facing numerous challenges, including an abusive partner, postpartum depression, and a high-risk pregnancy, Sarah managed to escape her situation. She shares her experiences of fear, trauma, and resilience and how she now uses her experiences to help others as a survivor of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She also discusses her efforts to provide support and resources to others in similar situations.
