The girls sit down with Ciro Muiruri, who recounts her inspiring and powerful story of being raised in the slums in Kenya, being orphaned at a young age by AIDS, escaping an abusive marriage that eventually led her to seek Asylum in Canada. She talks to the girls about how she rebuilt her life with nothing and went on to create the first center for deaf children in Africa, a Montessori school in Nairobi and the Pendo School in Kenya.
