Welcome back to the Horror Agenda and this week we cover an anthology film with SEVEN segments, we laugh, we manage Carlos' Audacity crashing, we talk fireworks, it's a ride. This week we're covering the 2019 film Scare Package.
The idea for the film came from Aaron B. Koontz & Cameron Burns who co-wrote the wrap-around segment ("Rad Chad's Horror Emporium") and the "Horror Hypothesis" end segment which Aaron B. Koontz directed.

  • We have the first segment (and cold open), "Cold Open", written and directed by Emily Hagins.
  • "One Time in the Woods" written and directed by Chris McInroy (whom we covered on a previous episode).
  • Next, "M.I.S.T.,E.R." directed by Noah Segan and written by Frank Garcia-Hejl & Noah Segan.
  • "Girls Night Out of Body" directed by Courtney & Hillary Andujar, written by Courtney Andujar, Hillary Andujar and Ben Fee.
  • "The Night He Came Back Again Part 4 the Final Kill" directed by Anthony Cousins and written by John Karsko & Anthony Cousins.
  • The last segment before the previously mentioned "Horror Hypothesis" is "So Much to Do" written and directed by Baron Vaughn.

We reference a few articles in this episode.
This ScreenRant interview by Grant Hermanns with Aaron B. Koontz (SPOILERS for Scare Package 2: Rad Chad's Revenge).
Wicked Horror's Joey Keogh interviews Zoe Graham (Horror Hypothesis segment) on being a final girl and more.

Joey Keogh of Wicked Horror also interviewed Rad Chad himself, Jeremy King.

This week Victor recommends the 1997 Wishmaster directed by Robert Kurtzman. Streaming on Tubi as of publishing.
Carlos recommends the Watchers (2024) which is available to rent but is no longer in theaters at the time of publishing.
