Imagine spending your whole childhood ostracized from your community and never feeling accepted.

If you endured that and came out as a happy, loving person, all of us would agree that alone would be an achievement.

What about not only that but then creating your own national movement around self-appreciation and unconditional love?

That's superhuman.

But that's what todays guest on the podcast Prema Smith has done.

Today is Self-Appreciation day, spearheaded by Prema last year and blowing up this year by partnering with Blackmores Running Festival.

Prema jumped on the podcast to share the heart-wrenching story of how this movement started for him and his keys to self-appreciation.

We touched on:

—> Prema’s tough upbringing and how that shaped him

—> The tragedy that led him to start self-appreciation day

—> Premas ‘A-B-C’ process for beginning to rewire your mind to appreciate yourself and your life.

—> How to stop seeking validation from others and liberate yourself

This was a fun but powerful conversation with one of the most passion, genuinely happy humans I’ve ever met. If you need a dose of self-love and positivity, you’ll love it.
