The Importance of Seeing Ernest

Bonus: Ernest In The Army (Original Treatment)

It's time for the final episode of IOSE (at least for a while). We are beginning our focus on the new program, The Ernest P Worrell Preservation Society, where we discuss the Unmade Ernest movies, but first we close this chapter in proper fashion. Enjoy!

The boys have been handed the keys to the kingdom, the much sought after ancient text of Vern; The Binders of Ernest pitches. Today we have the final transitional episode, where we discussed how four Ernest movies started out in their original drafts, this time it's Ernest In The Army. Find out what was originally supposed to happen in this family friendly-ish episode.

Three friends decided to embark on a journey that will take them to fond reminders of childhood, as well as some new content they’ve never watched before. They will be sitting down together, watching every Ernest program in chronological order, and then recording a podcast about each show. From local commercials, to Ernest in the Army, of one, that is. This is The Importance of Seeing Ernest, the comprehensive and encyclopedic compendium of all things Ernest. This is good film making, Vern. Feel free to follow along with us by becoming a Vernonite.
