This presentation is for two audiences; those with contemplative practice experience (likely mindfulness) who want to learn specific acupuncture points on the body that can be accessed through internal body scanning techniques, and those involved in some form of physical medicine (like acupuncture) that use points on the skin to affect the body's health. Practitioners and patients can learn here how to internally access and activate points in their own bodies and directly experience how this activation affects their health and well-being. Through this practice you learn ways to affect and improve your health and presence through your own focus and awareness on the points presented. Eight acupuncture points were chosen to provide an initial instruction in this technique; Yongquan, Baihui, Guanyuan, Mingmen, Neiguan, Gongsun, Waiguan and Zulinqi. As part of this quest he became an ordained Zen monk and did intensive Zen training to deepen his understanding. His specific focus is the experiential understanding of Qi and how that experience and practice transforms our understanding of existence and our role in life on a daily basis.
