Bitter Brothers Brewery is the first San Diego , independent, brewery to produce a low calorie beer. This trend is picking up steam and BB has a well timed innovation with Pacesetter that leverages the enzymes that are used in producing brut IPAs, to make a flavorful beer with just 2g of carbs, 95 calories, and coming in at a paltry 4% abv.

Beers for the health conscious drinker is a market that is exploding right now in craft. The biggest sign of expected growth in this arena is Sierra Nevada's purchase of Sufferfest. This is the first acquisition for the SN, that's how strongly they feel about the potential growth in this space.

Tyler, the head brewer at Bitter Brothers, joins us on The Show to discuss Pacesetter as well as some of their other fine offerings. The beer quality at this brewery is at an all time high, if it's been awhile since you've visited, you should go by soon!

I really enjoyed Pacesetter and wouldn't hesitate to order it. It has a quality on the finish that makes you want to take another sip, and another, and you get the point! This is episode 24, if you're keeping track, and it's time to hit the play button!
