We are called to do everything for the glory of God. Everything we do should be done with excellence. I’m not talking about perfection, because no one is perfect. But we should do everything for God’s glory.

In this episode I talk about how our job is to show the world Jesus through the words that we write and the story that’s in our heart. Philippians 3:8 says, “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ”

We are God’s mouth piece. We have a story to tell. Taht story may be the only Jesus some one sees in their lifetime. And it should be done with excellence.

1 Peter [4:11] says, “If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

This is why we’re supposed to continue learning the art of writing. Growing in our craft, and going out into the wolrd and letting people read what we’ve written. We shouldn’t hord the words God has given us, we need to let our light shine, that people may see our good works and glorify God.
