23 Erica Messer Wolfie's Wish and it’s Ok to Grieve for Your Pets

Cats! Elizabeth and Danielle started the show by talking about their cats, Max came up and the treatment that finally worked to stop him from scratching all the fur off of his face, a Zyrtec pill a day. They went on to talk about their cats, then introduced Erica Messer with Wolfie's wish. Erica started Wolfie's Wish when she was grieving over the sudden death of her one year old cat Wolfgang. Wolfie's Wish is a website with sympathy and grieving cards and pet burial products, among other things. Everyone went on to discuss how it's natural to grieve a pet but some people feel like they really can't talk about it.
They also talked about communicating with animals, and how Elizabeth worked with Julie Hirt to communicate with Max about his allergies, and how some people communicate with their deceased animals. Then the conversation segued to bringing new cats into your life, and how the deceased cat will allow you to love a new cat, so you can grieve but still bring new joy into your life.
From there the show meandered into cats' noses, and how they wake us up, and....well, you just have to listen!
Danielle talked about Tommy's Cats Rescue and the deluge of new kittens being born who will need homes soon, and what they do with their donations.
