First off, congratulations to winner LaurenPerry28 - I've reached out via YouTube! Enjoy the fun sodas! I test out a new segment this week where we meet some of the random employees around the store, and I kick it off with one of our Head Cashiers, Ray Jones. Ray's a big fan of all things pop culture and brought me a cool Lego Batmobile to display in the studio! Thanks Ray! Then, Dann Woellert The Food Etymologist and I dive into all kinds of holiday treats from Europe with a heavy focus on gingerbread and all of it's variants, like pfefferneuse, but don't think we skipped Walker's Mince Pies - they were awesome! Dann also drops some hot knowledge about some Cincinnati traditions and so much more. Don't forget to catch him on the History Channel's "The Food That Built America." Check out Dann's blog by clicking these words!
