A PC may choose to use either result. * Improved Aid A PC may for One Action "Prepare" which enables them to use a Reaction in the upcoming round to Aid. At the time the Aid is given (the reaction is used), the PC will describe how they are assisting and choose which skill or attack they are using. No die roll is made to determine if the Aid is successful, or how much Aid bonus is given. Instead the Aid reaction is automatically successful and the recipient of the Aid will receive a circumstance bonus of +1, +2, +3 or +4 determined by the Proficiency level (Trained, Expert, Master, or Legendary) of the PC who is providing the Aid. -------------------------------------------------------- THE ADVENTURE -------------------------------------------------------- Quest for the Frozen Flame takes place in a remote and frozen land known as the Realm of the Mammoth Lords. An honorable, yet primitive, people dwell there formed into large clans known as "Followings" which nomadically live off the massive herds of megafauna that dwell within this ancient land, most notably the Mammoths.
