Episode 137 of The Letterman Podcast is a special one as our guest this week is none other than Anton Fig, who was the drummer for the World’s Most Dangerous Band and the CBS Orchestra for 29 years.

Anton and Mike have a fantastic conversation about his time on the show and his life outside of it. They discuss various projects he was part of, such as working with Ace Frehley and almost becoming a member of KISS, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, performing at Live Aid, his tenure as the drummer for the house band at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, and much more. Anton was a part of thousands of one-of-a-kind musical performances during his career working on the productions of David Letterman and company. He expresses how lucky he is for the ride that he never could’ve predicted and his gratitude and adoration for both Paul Shaffer and David Letterman for their immense talent, and the opportunities he's had because of them.
