In this episode, I'm excited to announce that I'll be taking on the role of COO at Lone Star Capital. This position is crucial for driving operations and ensuring our firm's growth and success.
Craig and I discuss the current market challenges, the need to adapt, and the benefits of reinvesting in the company. We emphasize that everyone at the firm must take on more responsibility as we grow.
We also cover the recent changes to the debt structure of our Grand Riviera deal. We transitioned from a bridge loan to a fixed-rate structure with a preferred equity component, reducing our cost of debt. Introducing this more complex structure to investors posed some challenges, but maintaining trust and open communication is always key.
We highlight the positive response we have received from both existing and new investors, as well as the interest generated from our podcast!
