In the face of the challenges of obtaining a suitable, communal home in London, they learnt to acknowledge that their relationships mattered more than bricks and mortar. Before the search for a home, the intentionality of entering a ‘covenant’ relationship with each other’s families started with spending a lot of time together and having conversations about their childhoods, personalities and money. Now with more room at their table, it’s not too hard to guess which food Elizabeth would prepare on her longest day!
