The chemicals released in our brains when we are excited are the same ones released when we are nervous. The only difference is the thoughts we assign to the experience. So if your thoughts are positive, you experience joy. If your thoughts are negative then you experience nervousness and anxiousness. All of these experiences are necessary to stretch the boundaries of our comfort zone, and personal growth. We can alter the reality in which we exist by simply altering our thoughts. Maximal Achievers pay attention to the direction and progression of their thoughts.

When we are feeling uncomfortable in our body, it may mean we are becoming sick. When we are feeling uncomfortable emotionally, it may mean we are braving uncharted territory, and about to make a breakthrough in next-level achievement. This is a sign that you are on the right track. Your body becomes your thought monitor. Maximal Achievers learn to harness that thought monitor and apply their Maximal Self as the witness and the final word in how to proceed with those reports. Every moment presents a choice to either expand or contract. We have the ability to align our energy, feelings, and actions to our innermost potential.
