Legendary thrash metal lifer Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth is our guest this week on The MetalSucks Podcast! In this episode, we discuss Overkill's 20th album Scorched, coming out this Friday, as well as the positive changes he's witnessed in the last 40 years of being in the music business. And in that vein, we also try to find out what his secret is to longevity in the heavy metal scene, the difficulty of separating the business with the love of making music, how the demo of Scorched kept him sane through the pandemic, and how third time was the charm for completing the new album.
