Russell King has been teaching and researching the topic of migration for more than 50 years. In this episode, he is interviewed by Sara Hannafin about thinking beyond the dominate frameworks of how and why people migrate. This ambition has led him to study return migration, retirement migration, student migration, and most recently, migration motivated by love. He also reflects on working with, and being inspired by, his students over the past decades. Russell King is Emeritus Professor of Geography at the University of Sussex in the UK and visiting professor in Migration Studies at Malmo University in Sweden.
