We get lots of Hugh (yay), lots of Phryne’s harlequin coat (boo), and hit on a few themes in this one—Melbourne’s gang scene, boxing, and how the Aboriginal population is treated by society at that time. We love that Hugh gets to shine in this one, and we get to see Dot stand up to a gang leader in order to defend her man—resulting in one of our favorite quotes of the entire show. And, as usual, we go down some rabbit holes (and some rabbit-proof ones).

We recorded this episode a while ago, so we refer to the Miss Fishnet burlesque show as an upcoming event. It already happened (and was AWESOME), and our previous episode is a full review of the show. So if you missed it, check it out!
