The Mistress Code

"Mistressing" is an old poetic word that describes the practice of being a Mistress. We don't generally use the word today because the idea of a legitimate Mistress has died out, especially since love-matches have become the norm for marriage. But, Mistresses still exist and so does mistressing, we just don't like to talk about it.
However, there is one realm where the Mistress is still celebrated - in the Kink world. Of course, there are those who follow vanilla standards of monogamy and faithfulness in the Kink world, but there are also those who do not pay attention to such.
Thus, there is both vanilla affairs and kink affairs - they can be quite different from each other in approach and intensions, but are also the same as they fall under the one umbrella of infidelity.
