Prior to founding Mommy Brain, Ravelle was a women's lifestyle and wellness writer for publications such as SELF, Refinery29, SHAPE, EBONY, among others. She is also the former managing editor of DoSomething, the largest org for young people and social change, and former NYC editor of Mommy Poppins, a go-to site for moms to find events and places to play/take their children. Ravelle is also a mama to two toddlers and is currently expecting her third baby this May. She lives with her family in Los Angeles.
