Divorce can be a rollercoaster of emotions, and often, alcohol becomes a coping mechanism. But what happens when you're ready to step off that ride? This week on The Moving On Method®, we're diving into how to redefine your relationship with alcohol after divorce. Michelle Dempsey-Multack is joined by recovery coach Colleen Kachmann who opens up about her own journey with alcohol that led her to helping others. Together Michelle and Colleen will educate listeners on

  • What self-care really looks like
  • Signs that you are using alcohol to cope
  • How to establish and maintain healthy boundaries around alcohol consumption
  • Finding the support you need
  • AND MORE

Colleen Kachmann is a Certified Master Life & Recovery Coach using cutting-edge strategies in nervous system regulation, growth mindset, positive psychology, and self-directed neuroplasticity to help women reconnect with a higher sense of purpose so they can feel passionate and powerful again.

Through her own experience with alcoholism, Colleen founded Recover with Colleen after realizing that being “sober” is not a good goal. Pursuing happiness instead of sobriety is the ONLY way to reclaim your power. Once you realize that you can actually trust yourself, the only rule you need to follow is your own intuition - you just need to learn how to listen.

Colleen helps women bypass the stigma and drama that society associates with sobriety by focusing on what’s really important – our relationship with ourselves. Her passion is to help women liberate themselves from the oppressive belief that there is something fundamentally broken or flawed about them so that they can unlock a higher level of purpose, passion, and power.

Colleen holds a Bachelors of Science in education, a Masters of Science in coaching, and a women’s functional and integrative medicine professional certificate.
