Jim Shorten served in the US Navy, the US Army, and the US Air Force. In this podcast, Jim and I discuss his upbringing, his eventual entrance into Special Forces and his time serving as the Team Leader (One-Zero) for Reconnaissance Team (RT) Delaware for MACV-SOG. We discuss many of the operations that he was involved in with the A-Team and eventually MACV-SOG, including one rescue mission (Brightlight Mission) that would end up spanning over 40 years.
