In response to the fanfare and threat of New Bing, Google shortly there after showcased its Bard generative AI frontend for Google search. Neither Microsoft or Google implementations proved to be accurate or truthful. So what gives? Why are these brands releasing features that are apparently not ready for prime time?
Debbe and Leonard share their perspectives on the risks to users, the hype, and the potential harm themes that regulators should contemplate as they face the inevitable task of addressing responsible AI in an era of degenerative AI.
