Hey everyone! We look at video game series that had sequels which were departures from what the series offered before. We look at some examples where the style stuck and future games followed that, as well as some where it didn't stick and why. We highlight some games like Animal Crossing, Resident Evil, Doom, and plenty of others. Give us a listen!

Our gaming club game is SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising which is a lot of fun, difficult, but also multiplayer which is cool so check it out and game with us as well.

Any significant sequels that were different for the better that we didn't highlight? If so, what made them better! We love chatting about this stuff so let us know.

Huge shout to TheOneUps for letting us use their Shadow Man theme for our intro! Also a shoutout and credit goes to Wiesty and the OC Jazz Collective for letting us use their song Dream of Green for our outro!
