Embracing Satisfactory: A Life and Business Perspective

Suzanne discusses the concept of 'satisfactory being enough' in both personal and professional contexts. Inspired by her daughter’s parent-teacher interview.

Suzanne reflects on the importance of self-assessment and the realisation that not being outstanding in every area is acceptable. She shares personal anecdotes about her own experiences in business, where she chooses to focus her energies on areas she is passionate about, outsourcing tasks she is less interested in or skilled at.

She also touches on societal pressures to excel in everything and the freeing concept of embracing areas where we are just satisfactory, allowing for a healthier allocation of our time and energy towards what truly matters to us.

Suzanne encourages listeners to accept 'satisfactory' levels of achievement in certain aspects of their lives, freeing up resources to improve in areas they are genuinely passionate about.

In this episode Suzanne talks about:

  • The Power of Satisfactory: A Parent-Teacher Interview Insight
  • Learning to Accept 'Satisfactory' in Life and Business
  • Outsourcing and Focusing on Strengths
  • The Freedom of Embracing Mediocrity
