September 11, 2023 – Today’s episode of The Omnibus Show will feature Jill Gilmer, Carmel International Arts Festival President and Board of Directors member.
The Festival is coming up September 23 and 24 in The Arts and Design District, in Carmel. This family-friendly, dog-friendly event is free for all and provides an opportunity to see and purchase art in many forms, including: 2D and 3D art, wood, ceramics, glass, jewelry, photography, fiber/fabrics, and painting.
The Carmel International Arts Festival brings approximately 150 amazingly talented artists to Carmel for this two-day event. These juried artists come from all over the United States and some from other countries. Over 30,000 people are expected to attend this annual event. New, this year, is the ‘Sister City Section’ featuring Carmel’s Sister Cities and their art. There will also be a wine garden this year, and an opportunity to taste food from a diverse group of food trucks. One additional space that has expanded is the kids’ area. Children will be able to paint on canvas, work with sidewalk chalk, and enjoy dancers representing various cultures.
The art of music is a huge part of this annual festival. There will be multiple stages again this year, along with music from Bluewater Kings Band at ART ROCKS, the Saturday evening family celebration portion of the Arts Festival.

Again, the festival will take place Saturday, September 23, from 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday, September 24, from 11 am to 5 pm. The location is at Main Street and Rangeline Road in Carmel.
