Star Wars: The Acolyte

Somewhere along the line Star Wars became a Small screen universe, where the tales of Jedi and Sith and rebellions and empires got compressed into episodic dramas. The Acolyte continues the trend but now asks some very pointed questions about the Jedi, their unwavering belief in what is “right” and their complete lack of oversight.

It’s mind-bogglingly expensive, its incredibly divisive, and it’s made the anti-woke brigade VERY angry. It must be Star Wars!

Dion, is going deep nerd, Jill is Gonking, and Quinny is the droid you’re looking for in this occasionally heated podcast review.

Synopsis:

An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….

As always, a very force-ful thank-you to the imperial remnants and New Republic types who join in with the conversation on the Twitch stream, live on each Tuesday night at 7:30pm AEDST. And an especially huge thanks to any of you Force users who are kind enough to support us by Jedi-Mind-Tricking others into putting a tip in our jar via Ko-Fi, or subscribing on twitch… every bit helps us to get that sweet-sweet star wars merch.
