In this episode, we embark on a journey with Sarah Rhodes, the creator and founder behind Plastic Free Southeast Asia.

Sarah is armed with 15-years experience working in the Tourism Sector and worked with organizations like Stamford Hotels and the South Australian Tourism Commission.

Realising, the need for a bigger impact, led to the birth of PFSEA in 2015 and became a driving force, training and advising tourism businesses across South East Asia and Australia.
As a certified 'Climate Leader' and 'Blue Standard Consultant’, PFSEA has gone on to outreach to over 15,000 people and collaboration with 300+ businesses.

Sarah shares her transformative journey from South Australia to the heart of Cambodia, where her passion for sustainability, travel, and environmental and human impact came to life.
We delve into the details of embedding sustainability into tourism and becoming more responsible travellers and how we can reduce our individual and collective carbon footprints by nurturing local cultures, supporting ethical practices and why self-care in the pursuit of good is just as important.
