Have you thought about selling your products on TikTok? In this episode, we have a TikTok insider walk us through setting up a TikTok Store and using its affiliate program.

The first thing you should know about getting a TikTok Store (not to be confused with TikTok Business) is that it can be quick and easy. It usually only takes a day or two for your TikTok store account to be approved and go live. Then you can simply link the Shopify account you already use to sell your products. TikTok will sync with your Shopify inventory on an ongoing basis. You also have the option to manually input your products to your TikTok store natively.

Now let’s talk money. TikTok charges 2% plus thirty cents on transactions. The other money item: You can pay independent creators to market your products. There are two ways to do this: Shop Plan and Targeted Plan. In Shop Plan, you upload your product to the TikTok affiliate marketplace and then affiliates (TikTokers who have atleast 5,000 followers) can choose a product to market for you based on a sales-only commission. Targeted Plan is a little more involved– you can evaluate creators’ target audiences, success rate, etc., then choose one based on how well you think they fit your product.

If you want to tap into the hot TikTok market, this episode is a can’t miss!
