Week 2 diet update and then we continue my talk with my cousin, Gina Brissenden, a former Astronomy Educator turned extraordinary gardener. In this episode we talk about the healing qualities of gardening and how her garden saved her from a painful and debilitating autoimmune disorder, as well as processing a medical leave from work and eventual retirement. The many lessons of gardening: from learning acceptance, to learning who one is. And then… there’s the whole discussion about our love for donuts!
