Julianne usually has her social media notifications turned off, but she was scrolling through Instagram the other day checking in on uplifting accounts that she follows. She came across a post that, like a lot of what 2020 was like, was angry and called out certain people. This got Julianne thinking about the difference between calling out versus calling in.

The blame game or the shame game are never the thing. Of course, we can be so passionate about the fights we’re fighting, but we can be loud and do it with love. Julianne strongly believes that there is beauty in being emotional and passionate about something, but at the same time, there is a way to do it where we are calling our fellow neighbor in rather than calling them out.

“Reflect through your messaging, through your marketing, in your conversations - are you calling people out rather than calling them in?”

“Be louder and do it with love somewhere. You can be in anger and still feel the love flow through your words. You can be in your sorrow, you can be in agony, you can be in your holy rage and still feel the frequency of love threaded through your expression.”
