The episode begins with Jedi Masters Indara, Kelnacca, Sol, and Padawan Torbin arriving on Brendok in search of a mysterious "vergence," a powerful nexus of the Force. Initially, the Jedi are uncertain about the vergence's nature, but their mission takes a turn when Sol discovers two young girls, Osha and Mae, who are connected to the vergence. The episode reveals that the Jedi were sent to Brendok after a hyperspace disaster 100 years earlier, which left the planet barren. As the Jedi observe the girls and their connection to the Force, they discover that the twins were not born but created from the vergence. This revelation leads to a confrontation with the Nightsisters, led by Mother Aniseya and Mother Koril, who are responsible for the twins' creation.The episode explores the moral dilemmas faced by the Jedi as they grapple with the ethical implications of their actions.
