This week, in what might be the funniest episode yet, Molly and Emese are joined by co-stars Amy Schumer and Brianne Howey. They get candid about motherhood, career evolution, and their new film, Kinda Pregnant —which unexpectedly led to Amy’s latest health discovery. Amy opens up about how public criticism led her to uncover her Cushing syndrome diagnosis, what it’s like to navigate comedy and Hollywood as a mom, and the importance of sharing birth stories without shame. Brianne shares how becoming a mother has shifted her perspective on work, how Ginny & Georgia ’s Georgia Miller compares to real-life parenting, and the power of female friendships in the industry. We also go behind the scenes of their new Netflix film, Kinda Pregnant —how Molly first got the script, why Amy and Brianne were drawn to the project, and what it means for women today. Plus, they reflect on their early career struggles, the moment they knew they “made it,” and how motherhood has reshaped their ambitions. From career highs to personal challenges, this episode is raw, funny, and packed with insights. After many years, Sushma ultimately left the corporate world behind to build The Calmery. At The Calmery, you can expect a straightforward, down-to-earth, intelligent approach to modern healing, that you can apply to all areas of your life. You don’t need to be spiritual, religious or interested in the supernatural to benefit. Sushma benefited greatly from energy healing herself that she wanted to introduce it to others, particularly corporate executives who previously may have never come across the practice due to the stereotypes associated with it. Hey I'm Suzie, I spent 6 years working in corporate sales roles in London including the largest Investment bank in the world and a San Francisco fintech unicorn. Despite these being quite impressive jobs to a lot of people, I always felt like something was missing. The routine started to really get me down so I did a lot of soul searching until I decided to quit my job, start a podcast and move to Bali to explore the world of remote work. What I discovered amazed me, there are entire communities of super smart and talented people working and living remotely, from all over the world, all doing different things and actually EXCITED about their work. I learned that many of them had left huge corporate jobs because they were restricted to staying in one place and had experienced similar things to me. From then on I became obsessed with this way of working, it opens up so many opportunities for you to travel, spend more time with loved ones or just do more things you love all whilst being more productive and generally happier. It also levels the playing field for global talent which is something I think can really change the economic landscape, solve issues in overpopulated cities and ultimately contribute to reducing global inequality. We share stories from people working remotely from all over the world. Whether they are entrepreneurs, digital nomads, freelancers, people who have remote jobs or coworking spaces we are sharing their stories. Whether you’re already working remotely, thinking about it or even managing a distributed team, this podcast is for YOU. About me (your host)... I want to help more people take advantage of this amazing way of working. Through my guest's stories, you will learn all about how they came to work remotely and the tips you can take into your own career and business.…
The Remote Edition IG @theremoteedition Suzie IG @suzieclark_ This week is a solo episode where I chat all about the power of a morning routine. Over the past year I have read lots of books on morning routines and habits, I've tried and tested lots of different theories and finally developed a morning routine that works for me. It has helped to transform my mindset, improve my willpower and my overall relationship with myself. It involves getting up at 5am, journalling, meditating, running and a few other things! I chat all about how completing this consistently helps me get the most out of the day ahead. I discuss the various components that make up a strong morning routine and what benefits they have. I also chat about how you can build up your own morning routine and why it's so important. Books I mention: The 5am Club by Robin Sharma Atomic Habits by James Clear About this podcast... The Remote Edition IG @theremoteedition Suzie IG @suzieclark_ This week's guest is Nils Kattau, one of the leading Conversion Optimization experts and a good friend of mine! Nils' story is super inspiring, he developed an interest in tech and marketing from a young age, we chat all about how he founded a Marketing Agency in his early 20s that he grew to 50+ employees. Originally from Germany, Nils now lives in Pererenan in Bali, Indonesia. Nils reflects on his experience of his role as CEO as his company grew evolving into a role he didn't necessarily enjoy resulting in him becoming pretty unhappy to the point that he decided to sell his agency to travel the world. We discuss how important it is to find self awareness and understand what makes you happy so you can enjoy the process rather than living with a mentality of 'I'll be happy when...' Today Nils consults on all things Conversion Optimization for several high profile enterprise clients, is a frequent speaker at conferences and co-hosts his own podcast called The Izzi & Nils Show. He has also worked hard to design a lifestyle he loves, working only a few hours per month for clients allowing him to spend the rest of his time on passion projects and enjoying life in Bali. It's a super inspiring conversation and Nils gives an interesting insight into how he achieved a lifestyle which might seem impossible to many people through building a personal brand, finding a niche, becoming an expert and a lot of consistent self reflection. The Remote Edition IG @theremoteedition Suzie IG @suzieclark_ Role reversal episode today! I get interviewed by Luca Olias from the Guards of Eden podcast! We chat about so many things... my decision to go into the banking industry as a grad, working in sales in the city, the internal conflicts of being unhappy in a job that society tells you is an amazing career etc etc.. Luca also delves into a lot about all the changes I've made in 2019 (quit my corporate job, started a podcast, went through a breakup, started a coaching business, moved to Bali) we cover my motives behind the decisions, how I positioned myself to be able to take action and the struggles I had to get there. I'm reposting this interview as Luca managed to get me to give a really honest recap of a lot of the stuff I've been through in the last few years. I know a lot of you will be in the same position as I was a few years ago - unhappy in your jobs, wanting to travel or start a business but feeling conflicted by the pressures of society telling you to chase the promotion, get married and save for a house. I want to encourage you to take a leap of faith and DO the things you really want to do, I hope that by telling my story and how I managed to make some of my dreams a reality for myself will help inspire you to do the same. This week I'm super excited to share my chat with the amazing Haydn Elliott, host of 'The Inspiration Space' Podcast and Co-Founder of F45 Oxford Circus. Haydn has SUCH an incredible energy and a refreshingly honest perspective on so many things, everything he was saying resonated with me so much! We chat allllll about life and navigating your 20s, the highs, lows and how it can be a really challenging time. Haydn shares his experiences from hating Uni (!) to the challenges of getting a job you like once you graduate. He started out as a PT at PureGym before leaving to get a corporate job, never really feeling fulfilled by either choice! He was super honest about the mental health battles he experienced at this time where he just felt pretty lost. He chats about seeing a therapist and the things he did to turn his mindset around, leading to him starting his own podcast 'The Inspiration Space' where he's interviewed some incredible guests!
