Are you tired of living on a metaphorical hamster wheel, repeating the same daily routines? In this episode of Overwhelmed to Resilient, I will share my personal experiences of juggling family commitments, maintaining a work-life balance, and prioritizing self-care. This episode is packed with relatable anecdotes and valuable life lessons, encouraging listeners to 'run their race' and embrace the unique journey that life presents. Life is not about perfection but about embracing change, making room for personal growth, and navigating the delicious detours that come our way. We may use narratives or scripts that no longer serve us. They might have been relevant at one point, but as we grow and evolve, it's natural for our needs and perspectives to change. It's okay to let go of these outdated narratives. Instead, we should focus on living life at our own pace, free of the expectations and judgments of others.
Episode highlights:
(1:20) Family legacy lives on
(2:32) God is awesome
(4:42) Open yourself to new
(8:33) Learn from experience
(9:16) Don't try to do too much the first day you're back
(10:24) Run your race and feel that accomplishment
(11:12) The importance of embracing your story
(12:10) The feeling of anticipation for new
