Ben visited Hurst Bowling Club in February 2022, soon after Storm Eunice felled a large tree by the adjacent Castle Inn, destroying the old outside toilet of the club. He talks to Ronnie Ashley, a committee member with responsibility for fundraising, about the 275-year-old club and its role in the community, the appeal of the sport, and the desperate need for a new clubhouse - even before this latest setback.
