Are you constantly looking for new marketing strategies that elevate your business? A mastermind is a brilliant way to go about it. In this episode of the ROI Online Podcast, we sat down with CEO & entrepreneur R.T. Custer to learn how to develop a mastermind, how to maximize its impact, and how to use it to grow your business.

R.T. is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vortic Watch Co, a wristwatch manufacturing company. He’s also Chief Revenue Officier of Carter & Custer, a full-service advertising agency serving clients mostly through content and story-based marketing services.

R.T. discovered that leaders like Walt Disney, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Eidson all shared one secret that propelled them to success: each person was a member of a mastermind group. Masterminds are led by someone who starts the group as a way of helping people achieve a specific, common purpose. For example, the leader directing the mastermind might want to help people scale a business.
Among other things, R.T. and Steve discussed:

  • R.T.’s backstory and experiences
  • How his company Vortic Watches started
  • More about his agency Carter & Custer and the Fast Foundations Mastermind
  • How to run a mastermind
  • How to create a mastermind
  • How to organize a mastermind group
