In this episode, the Sentinel's editor Peter Hackney and features editor Travis de Jonk explore the top headlines of the week, including City of Sydney councillor Kerryn Phelps calling out the council for contravening its own ‘Greening Sydney’ initiative by removing 60 trees for the new Surry Hills Village development ; the long awaited completion of Sydney’s 11 kilometre harbourside walk between Woolloomooloo and the Anzac Bridge ; Randwick City Council's new pop-up cycleway; and the announcement of Vivid Sydney’s 2021 festival dates, as well as new artistic director.

This week our special guest on the show is none other than actor, comedian, writer, presenter and motivational speaker Mary Coustas – better known as ‘Effie Stephanidis’ – the larger than life character she created that most famously featured on the hit Australian comedy TV show Acropolis Now. She talks with us that, her upcoming Sydney shows (Hello Good Thanks – Better Out Than In), her extraordinary career and a whole lot more.

Effie in Hello Good Thanks - Better Out Than In plays on:

24 April at The Concourse in Chatswood
08 May and 09 May at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville
