A podcast created by Decolonising Contraception collective, an interdisciplinary collective of Black and people of colour, working across sexual and reproductive health (SRH) . Hosted by Edem Ntumy (She/her) - community engagement officer and Dr Annabel Sowemimo (She/her) community sexual & reproductive health doctor. Each episode gives a round up of sexual health news, social justice issues and focuses on the work of those working to dismantle the everyday prejudice in our sector. This is part two of our reproductive justice episode where we delve deeper into Abortion Rights for Black women living in England and what it's like navigating a system with multiple layers of stigma. We chat to the multi-talented Zachi Brewster - reproductive health advocate and doula extrodinaire. Zachi (She/Her) is a Black, queer, sexuality educator, abortion doula and freelance community manager for reproductive wellbeing organisations. She supports individuals through transitional experiences, creates and organises content and builds communities around our shared stories for a diverse range of change-makers in the sexual and reproductive health space. Her work aligns with her personal mission to improve reproductive and sexual health services for all.
