With so much negativity online right now, are you really accomplishing all that you are capable of? Perhaps a social media diet is the VERY thing you need in order to reach your highest potential...
In this episode, I sit down with my dear old friend, Sonja Ringo. We catch up after 6 lost years, share some laughs, and then dive into social media dieting and how it can work miracles in your life. Ringo shares her experience, insight, and the positive impact this 3-month break had on her mental health, creativity, and productivity. Without the constant distraction of these hypnotic, addictive apps, she even managed to complete an entire book. She then shares about the time she was nearly eaten by wolves, bears, and sea monsters while completely alone in the forest off Vancouver Island... but that's not til the end of the episode, so stay tuned.
Sonja Ringo is a poet, world traveller, artist, forager and singer/songwriter. She has lived on four different continents and spent time in over 20 countries, writing poems and playing her guitar all the way around the globe. In 2015, she created a jewelry line using feathers and animal bones which she collected during her backpacking adventures. Sonja's newest creative endeavour combines original poetry with homemade paper and wild-foraged botanical inks. Her various artistic mediums all share one unwavering theme: celebration of, and reverence for nature. She is currently working on her first collection of poems which will be available for purchase in the spring of 2021.
