One of our most anticipated albums of the year was released recently and now that we’ve spent a week with it absorbing the emotionally heavy lyrics and the radical stylistic change, we get to share our thoughts with one another on the newest album, ‘Dark Sun’, from revered scene band, Dayseeker.

Is this album as jarring and divergent as listeners online are claiming it is? Or is it a case of an artist pulling from an intense emotional event to stretch their artistry because it best fits the emotional state that they were in when they created the art?!
