Matt takes today's show to talk some about his Memorial Day this year, and to challenge the myths we are told every Memorial Day about how the 1.3 million men that died in uniform died "fighting for your freedom". We run down all of the major conflicts in American history to see if there is any truth to that assertion, or if it's just one more lie that we are told to stifle dissent, as the politicians use veterans like a shield, to protect themselves from criticism. They do this by conflating their war and its stated goals with the people who do the fighting. Tune in as Matt tries to untangle those two concepts. And also find out if Xanax and podcasting mix
