As a mother and a nurse, I have felt my fair share of guilt. Many times I felt a directly conflict between these two roles – when I was working as a nurse, I wasn’t able to be readily available for my kids. And when I chose to prioritize my family, I’d worry I would be judged for taking time away from work.
Guilt is a weed that can overtake the garden of your life. And when guilt occurs frequently, it can erode self esteem and move into shameful self-hate.

During this episode I discuss how guilt robs us of our ability to feel that we are enough. I highlight the importance of identifying, not only our priorities, but also understanding the stories we tell ourselves about the choices we make. When we shed a light on our repetitive inner soundtrack, we can begin to create a new mantra that quelches the nagging sound of guilt. And in it’s place, the new track is one that is supportive of our priorities along with the establishment and maintenance of healthy boundaries.

I was once riddled with guilt and now have the skills and strength to honor my values and make commitments without guilt. This is a beautiful mindset to create, one which I can help you cultivate too.
