Today I want to talk about the lessons I've learned from writing and publishing my first book. This book is something I've been planning for 12 years, but it was only in the last few months it came to fruition. So what changed?

I learned that I needed discipline, and to think differently when it came to the tasks and goals I had to meet in order for the book to come out.

It also meant understanding exactly why I wanted to publish the book, and what its legacy would be.

Mentioned on today's show:

  • Why you need to rethink your processes when writing a book
  • Why you need to overcome procrastination and just get things done
  • Why setting yourself realistic goals will help you achieve them more easily
  • Why leaving a legacy is more important than leaving just memories
