Today, we welcome Amanda, a mother, modern-day homesteader, graduate student, and 2nd grade teacher. Amanda began her journey in education as a school secretary here at Syracuse Arts Academy. With a degree in theatre from Southern Utah University, Amanda had envisioned her future teaching high school theater. After an opportunity to get into the classroom, Amanda discovered a love for elementary education. For the last 10 years, Amanda has taught 2nd grade alongside some of her best friends. Amanda is an SAA favorite and we are grateful to learn from her today.
